Granite is formed from Magma, which is a mixture of rocks, solids and volatiles that is found under the innermost layer of earths surface. It starts with sawing the granite rock into slabs which as thickness of 6 to 12 inches .This is done by using diamond rotary saws attached to blades which is 11 feet in diameter. Water is used as coolant. The saws are operated by computer controls which are programmed to function uninterrupted by setting block size and thickness.
Designs and finishing cuts are done by a computer controlled steel wire which have diamond segments that can cut the granites in any preferred shape.
The next step involves the granite in processing stage to give a glossy finish by speed polishing mills. Operators direct a heavy wheel on the granite slabs which are rough along with water to make surface of the slabs smooth.
In the final step, a heavy buffing wheel is guided on the whole slab to get a mirror finish with full radiance.

These granite slabs need to be sealed to protect its finish so that they last for lifetime. Granites that are cut in rectangles and squares are tumbled to smooth sharp edges. Tumbling is done to have clean, polished, burnish, rust-free and brightened finishing. It is done by using a horizontal barrel filled with parts is rotated on Granite. As the barrel rotates, the granite rises till the time when gravity makes the upper layer to landslide on other side. A lubricant is added to prevent rusting and clean parts.

Tumbled is a method by which you get rounded edges resulting in aged stone. It gives a rustic and worn look that brings uniqueness, beauty of stones and creates elegance in both Interior and exterior. To remove stains, you should always use peroxide covered paper towels. By putting these towels on the stains, the peroxide dissolves them and then need to wash the flooring with warm water.

The first step in creating a beautiful lawn from seed is to remove any weeds or old grass from the area to be seeded. This may be done by hand when the weeds are still alive, or you can spray the weeds and wait for them to die.

Next you will need to ammend the soil, unless you have soil that contains a lot of organic matter. This is the most time consuming and labor intensive part but it is very important. I like to add compost or manure and till in with the existing soil until the top four to six inches becomes lose and easy to work. The goal is about fifty percent compost to fifty percent soil. This seems like a lot of work, but it will pay off big time in the end. Having enough organic matter in the soil will help it to retain moisture, and will keep it from getting too compacted. The result is a lawn that is lower maintenance and looks good for years and years.

Now that the soil is well mixed it’s time to rake it out smooth. I like to use a three foot rake for this part but a normal garden rake will work fine. Try to get any rocks larger than about the size of a nickle, and rake them out of the lawn area. Keep raking untill the area is as smooth as possible. You can use a two-by-four to screed across the soil to make it flat if it helps you.

Now that the area is as flat as you can possibly get it apply starter fertilizer according to the instructions.

Now if the soil is dry, it is best to apply enough water that the moisture seeps well into the ground. Just avoid puddles.

Time for the seed. I like to apply the seed fairly heavy so that the ground is almost covered. This will ensure that the new lawn comes in nice and thick.

If you have access to a lawn roller, roll the seeded area to press the seed firmly against the soil.

Next is an important step that many people skip. You need to cover the seed with a light layer of fine mulch or sawdust to keep it moist. This also keeps the seed from blowing away, and keeps the birds out to some degree.

The last step is very important to fast success. DO NOT LET IT DRY OUT. It’s a good idea to get a timer that will spray every few minutes all day. If the seed drys out after it germinates it will die and your lawn will not look very good. I try to explain this to people, but they don’t understand how important it is.

Usually there will be a few spots that don’t come in very thick. This is normal and easy to fix. Just sprinkle some seed on the thin areas and cover with mulch very lightly and keep it moist untill it has grown in.

When the lawn starts to get thick, you can start to cut back on watering, just keep an eye on it so it doesn’t get to dry. It will take a couple of months before the lawn has enough of a root system to survive drying out much. This is where the compost plays a big role. It gives you a larger margin of error.

You may notice a lot of weeds that have sprouted with the grass seed. If there are a lot of them you can spray them when the lawn is mature enough. Apply spray according to the label. If you only have a few weeds, just pull them by hand

Biodiesel has been around for over a century. Before WW2 bio diesel was in use in South Africa to power large equipment and Europe has been very instrumental in the development of technology promoting the use of bio diesel. In Europe too there are more available diesel engines than in America and one has to wonder what is delaying the use of more and more diesel engines in the US?

The auto industry could turn around its fate by developing diesel engines and in fact Mercedes took three C-Class diesels and drove them for over 30,000 miles using biodiesel from Jatropha oil without any alterations to the engines and with no adverse affects during this period.

All the major automotive manufacturers from cars to big trucks have ongoing studies with alternative fuels but for some unknown reason keep them locked up in secret.  In August 2007, Mack’s parent company Volvo Group displayed seven demonstration trucks that emit no carbon dioxide. Each of the vehicles was powered by a different renewable fuel type – illustrating the breadth of the company’s investigation into alternative fuels.

It is not viable for every user of bio diesel to have access to a free resource for used vegetable oil so it will behoove every state to offer attractive programs to farmers to grow feed stocks that will not be competing with food consumption. An example of these alternative crops are camelina, rape seed, jatropha trees and also developing studies on algae production as a source for alternative fuel.

The one side effect of using alternative fuels is a decrease in energy or power in the engine but this is something that manufacturers will be addressing in the future one can bet ones bottom dollar on. Customer satisfaction is always at the forefront of decision making, especially when it comes to available power.

The bottom line is the public is going to have to come out of their shell shock ways of traditionally doing things and that includes farmers who are often times reluctant to try new practices for familiarity breeds complacency and we cannot afford complacency for our world to continue thriving.

Diesel at the fuel pumps is rising steadily and with the correct processor; you the consumer can make your own fuel for approximately .50 per gallon in a safe user friendly successful way. Why would anyone want to keep giving the oil companies a free .00 or more per gallon? Those two dollars is money you could be putting to better uses for yourself and your family and or business.

Think of it this way. With 100% bio diesel at .50/gal equating to huge savings per year plus a more efficient engine and the satisfaction that you helped boost agriculture not the fat wallet of an oil magnate and cut down on green house gases to boot. So what is stopping you?

Countries have the potential right now to become financially free because with your savings you will be able to invest more of your earned monies into asset investment vehicles instead of throwing it into your liability vehicles to commute. Investors want and demand vehicles to plunge their money into especially if there is a huge potential of immense gains. Whatever about immense gains, continuity of gains is always attractive and with the advances in technology, those gains are quietly but permanently assured for sure to be sure. God bless!
